I am a psychiatrist, psychotherapist, psychoanalyst and supervisor with more than 25 years experience in various clinical settings. My areas of interest include anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, women’s mental health throughout the lifespan, PTSD, grief, psychological issues in later life, developmental trauma, perinatal psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychoanalysis.

After qualifying as a psychiatrist in Australia I completed a 4 year psychoanalytic training programme at the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis in Los Angeles. I am a member of the following professional organisations: the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, the American Psychoanalytic Association, the International Association of Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy, the National Association of Practicing Psychiatrists and the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis. I am also a Visiting Medical Officer at St John of God Burwood Hospital.
